It will basically be like our world. The background will be a child walking to their house from school.

It will make it better for the learning experience, because it relates to the the real world, nowdays.
- HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic?
- What happens in the world that helps the player learn?
The player has to avoid the bullies, and if the they happen to run into one, they have to answer a bully statistic question.- How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game?
They can use the information to try and avoid the bullies even more, because they don't want to run into them, and cause bullying.
- WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz?
Because the game has actions, that can make it more fun to learn about bullying, than just going through and answering questions.
I'm Jacey. I'm a cheerleader and sophmore in high school. Ever since I was born, animals have been in my life and I am definitely an animal person. I think anyone who hurts an animal should be put in jail. I'm a very opinionated person, especially when it comes to the safety of people and animals. So that is why I chose my topic to be Animal Abuse Prevention. I think it will be a good thing for people to learn about.
Okay, so I ended up changing groups and topics. Now it's on bully prevention. So, our game will basically be about learning bullying statistics, and avoiding bullies.
Yesterday we finally began the mini game project. I'm glad we've finally started it, so we have something else to do.
Normally, all we do is blog and update our learning log, because of other people having to catch up with the rest of us.
I learned from the BrainPop videos that you need to be careful on the internet, because although it's somewhat safe, there are still dangers. Blogging can be a way to show off some of your work or keep a diary on the internet. Some are also informational, and are about one specific topic. Some people check blogs to openings for new voices. I'm just going to continue to try and remember to update the learning log.
Christmas break was pretty crazy. I was in Charleston at my dad's Christmas day through Wednesday, and spent the rest of the time in Fayetteville. Christmas was pretty good, I got alot of nice things, but the biggest gift I got this holiday season was the happiness I saw from my grandma when I gave her the portrait I did of my grandpa. It was the greatest thing that could have happened.
Other than that, I spent time with friends, and family.
